Casual (availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is desirable)
$***** per hour (LGIA Stream A Level 2) + Superannuation
Location – Rockhampton
Your new role
Do you have strong attention to detail, numerical and data entry skills and are looking for an opportunity to be involved in Payroll functions?
The Payroll unit is looking for a pro-active and motivated member to join their team on a casual basis.
The ideal applicant will be available to work every second Tuesday, Wednesday mornings and have flexible availability.
In this busy role you will assist the payroll team with the administration and processing of weekly timesheets and other payroll documentation.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check – Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
Experience in a payroll environment is highly advantageous and a proactive approach and 'can do' attitude.
Must have flexible availability
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Possess a high level of accuracy and ability to work within a fast paced / high volume work environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage your time effectively to ensure you achieve your goals within the required timeframes.

Experience in administration, with the ability to process a high volume of tasks accurately with a high-level attention to detail.
Communication and interpersonal skills with experience providing quality customer service.
Demonstrated ability maintain a high degree of confidentiality and to work closely with a small team to achieve multiple organisational outcomes within a deadline-driven environment.
