Casual bakery attendant - 10-20 hrs per week (sunshine coast)

Crust Bakery is on the lookout for an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated and proactive staff member with great communication and people skills to help in our stores. You would need to be flexible with location to be able to work at our Cotton Tree, Pacific Paradise, Mountain Creek, Minyama and Marcoola shops.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has restaurant, bakery or café experience. Hours of work vary anywhere between 5am - 4.30pm. Full availability is ideal; however, you can work around students studying depending on availability. The job would be most suitable for someone studying or someone looking to pick up a 2nd job who may have a PM job. Our rosters are done 2-3 weeks in advance so you always have sufficient time to inform your other employer for availability. You must be available weekdays.

Hours on offer anywhere from 10-20 hours per week given business demand and availability. This will change from week to week, with different days and shifts and potential for more hours depending on skill level and business demand.

You need to demonstrate good organisation and be able to work well under pressure as you do work alone at certain times of the day.

We do have six stores based on the Sunshine Coast and would like staff who are willing to learn and train in multiple stores when required to be able to assist with staff members in other stores, on holidays or when unwell.

• Hospitality experience is an advantage
• Ability to start as early as 5am if required
• Must be available weekdays AM, weekends and all holiday periods and public holidays. Easter and Christmas is our busiest time so we do require good availability to be able to work.
• Feel confident working on their own
• Able to work and be trained within different stores – Mountain Creek, Minyama, Pacific Paradise, Cotton Tree, Kunda Park, and Marcoola
• Adaptable to come in and cover shifts when other staff are unwell
• Must be available to work weekend shifts and Public Holidays. School holidays including Easter, Christmas (Christmas day closed however Boxing Day is required) and New Year is a must.
• Must be available December – January as this is our busiest time over the Holidays
