We are seeking a skilled Broadcast Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the broadcast operations team, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events.
* Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting while executing changes and engineering updates on the mobile unit.
* Perform regular cleaning and inventory checks for the mobile unit.
* Track and report on equipment and system repair and maintenance status.
* Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the mobile unit.
* Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and updates.
* Provide on-site client service and technical support.
Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years' experience operating a Broadcast Truck solo is essential.
* You will have a good understanding of outside broadcast workflows.
* Understanding of SMPTE 2110 is desirable.
* The ability to work under time constraints.
* VSM or TFC knowledge and experience with IP Technology is preferred.
* Well organised and can prioritise work in order of on-air importance.
