Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and execute a rotating menu of small plates and Italian-inspired dishes
* Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation in all food
* Assist in daily prep, kitchen setup, and pack down
* Manage food storage, labelling, and hygiene practices to the highest standard
* Collaborate on menu development with the owner/chef
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
* Work independently and as part of a small team during service
About You:
* Cooking experience in a professional kitchen (Italian experience a bonus)
* Comfortable with prep, line work, and plating in a fast-paced environment
* Passion for seasonal produce, simple flavour-driven food, and Italian cuisine
* Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure
* Holds relevant food safety certification
* Positive attitude and willingness to grow with a new team
