As our project portfolio and regional footprint continue to grow, we are seeking an accomplished Sales Director to lead INTEC’s business development and commercial strategy across Australia and New Zealand. This is a high‑profile leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth in the utility‑scale solar and energy storage markets, strengthening INTEC Energy’s market presence and reputation in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead INTEC’s commercial sales strategy across Australia and Recent Zealand, driving business growth in utility‑scale solar PV and BESS projects.
- Develop, leverage and expand executive networks with developers, investors, utilities, and key industry stakeholders to secure high‑value project opportunities.
- Oversee the full tendering and bid lifecycle, from EOIs and RFPs to contract negotiation and award, ensuring competitive and commercially sound outcomes.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, engineering, finance, and project delivery teams to align strategy, risk and technical solutions for each opportunity.
- Build and mentor a high‑performing business development and tendering team, fostering accountability, strategic thinking and long‑term capability growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years in executive sales, business development or commercial leadership within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated success winning and delivering multi‑hundred‑million‑dollar solar and/or BESS EPC contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen and executive‑level negotiation, strategic planning and client relationship skills.
- Strong understanding of EPC, BOOT, PPP, PPA frameworks and project financing structures.
- Established and active network across developers, investors, utilities and IPPs in Australia and New Zealand.
