Key Responsibilities
* Portfolio Stewardship: Provide end-to-end oversight for a $10M+ capital investment program, ensuring all initiatives map back to strategic OKRs and business benefits.
* Delivery Governance: Maintain a Forensic view of the critical path across all streams to provide the Executive Sponsor (COO) with accurate ground-truth visibility.
* Project Management Oversight: Stay closely connected with 5-6 Project Managers to provide strategic guidance, identifying cross-stream dependencies and resolving bottlenecks.
* Workstream Direction: Directly oversee the workstreams, focusing on high-complexity technical change and business process modernization.
* Stakeholder Management: Manage a complex web of senior stakeholders, including multiple Executive General Managers (EGMs) and IT Directors, to ensure scope discipline and transparency.
* Deep-Dive Engagement: Attend project Working Groups to maintain a granular understanding of roadmap initiatives and technical constraints.
Key Requirements
* Industry Experience: Extensive pedigree in managing Operational Transformation programs within a major Logistics, Supply Chain, or Retail environment.
* Stakeholder Diplomacy: Demonstrated ability to manage “tricky” executive dynamics and deliver clear, correct messages to C-suite sponsors.
* Technical & Process Literacy: Deep understanding of tech-related change (integrations, infrastructure, or last-mile systems) and its impact on physical logistics processes.
* Strategic Accuracy: Proven forensic ability to identify and manage the true critical path within a complex multi-stream program.
* Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of the “Delivery Partner” ecosystem and the operational nuances of Parcels and Freight networks.
* Leadership Style: An outcomes-focused professional who can mentor Project Managers and “own the detail” without the need for traditional line management oversight
