**The Role**
The purpose of this role is to manage a specific group of key customers ensuring the highest level of service is provided while building solid relationships with the main stake holders. Also ensuring budgeted sales and margins are achieved.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain exceptional service levels for existing customers - ensuring close liaison on a daily and weekly basis
- Secure new business with customers while maintaining sales and business requirements with existing accounts
- Ensure customer delivery and customer service expectations are fulfilled
- Identify potential areas for growth within existing accounts
- Advise customers of the total PFD product range and supply price trends
- Advise manager and sales team of critical considerations or developments affecting customers and key accounts
**Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications**
- Proficiency in learning a product range quickly
- Good understanding of the food service or FMCG industry
- Previous account management experience
- Superior selling and negotiating ability
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Solid computer literacy
- Tertiary qualifications desirable
- Self-motivated and ambitious
