People and Culture Coordinator

Role Overview
As the People and Culture Coordinator, you will support a wide range of HR, training, and engagement activities. This role is perfect for someone organized, approachable, and thriving in a fast-paced, people-driven environment. You will coordinate onboarding, development initiatives, and staff events to help create a positive, connected workplace culture alongside the People and Culture Manager.
About the Person
The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They should be proactive, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related fields are desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, recruitment assistance, and employee record management.
2. Coordinate training programs, track compliance, and liaise with managers and providers to address development needs.
3. Plan and manage staff engagement events, wellness initiatives, and recognition programs to enhance workplace culture.
4. Assist with performance reviews, employee engagement, and respond to HR policy queries.
5. Provide administrative support to the People and Culture and leadership teams, including reporting and process improvements.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
1. Previous experience in a similar People & Culture or HR coordination role.
2. Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
3. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
4. A self-starter with a practical approach to problem-solving.
5. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
