What you will be doing as a General Manager, Cold Storage: The Warehouse Manager has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising warehouse activities on a daily basis. The manager is responsible for staffing and scheduling to ensure the highest level of customer experience. Goals are consistent with the organization's POI strategies. Ensures safety of employees at all times through facility management of equipment and buildings. Responsible for the success of the P&L for this specific Business Unit What you need to land this awesome job: Education: High School (GED) Associate's degree Preferred Experience: 5 years warehouse operations management Experience managing staffs of people License or Certification: Forklift certification required Travel requirements: Occasionally Minimum Physical requirements: Ability to endure long periods in 0F degree temperatures in the freezer and on the docks. Ability to stand up to 6 hours. Occasionally lift to 50 pounds.
