System Engineer for Complex Systems
We are seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to work on complex systems engineering projects. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for working across the systems engineering process from requirements to design to development to testing, delivery and sustainment.
You will work in multi-disciplinary teams delivering systems using technologies from Radio Frequencies and wired communications to networking to computing and software systems. The systems will range from small scale, bespoke solutions to some of the largest scale, complex enterprise systems in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Accountable under routine direction to perform and achieve moderately complex systems engineering work within an integrated workforce
* Accountable for organising their workflow and seeking advice where required to make decisions relating to their area of responsibility
* Apply technical engineering knowledge and experience, understand priorities to research, define issues, and suggest corrective actions
* Undertake technical research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessments and perform procedural or operational support work to achieve results.
Requirements
* Experience in Information Technology
* Have an understanding of RF Transmissions Systems
* Have some experience in producing formal systems engineering documentation.
* Ability to tailor your communication style to effectively engage various audiences
* Ability to work flexibly and both independently and within the team
* Capacity and discipline to build and manage systems in accordance with our high standards
* Industry experience, formal training or a particular domain expertise
