Allied Health Assistant | Buderim Hospital

* Employment Term: Casual Opportunity Available

* Location: Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast, QLD

* Remuneration: $ $39.30 p/hr + Casual Loading + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team

You will support the team with the delivery of Allied Health services, individual and group programs as well as entering new referrals and client data into our client records system.

You will work collaboratively with the team to deliver individual treatments and group programs; providing clinical support under the supervision of the Allied Health Professional to ensure the provision of efficient and effective service to patients.

Other duties will also include assisting in the management and maintenance of equipment and supplies and clerical and administrative duties as required.

What makes a difference for us?

* Cert III or Cert IV in Allied Health Assistant OR current 2nd year Allied Health degree student

* Previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant – highly desirable

* Effective communication skills with the ability to build great relationships

* Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team

* Demonstrated understanding of client centred care services delivery for clients with long term health conditions, aged and people with disabilities

* Good time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads

* Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc

* Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
