Corn Season Production Operator Job
Key responsibilities for the Corn Season Production Operator role include inspection and grading of incoming raw material, foreign object removal, safe operations of fixed plant processing and high speed packaging equipment, cleaning and sanitizing of production lines, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety protocols, accurate completion of daily shift logs/system entries, forklift operations for suitably licensed and experienced candidates, and contribution to continuous improvement processes.
In addition, for those with a valid forklift license, duties will involve the safe operation of counterbalance forklifts, transporting raw and finished goods between production areas, utilizing forklift-mounted RF scanners and radio communications, conducting pre-start checks, and working in cold store environments.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety, health, and well-being, as well as the ability to work varied 8-hour shifts on a Monday-to-Saturday roster.
