Depot Facilities Manager - Geelong

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Manage Depot facilities in terms of coordinating business resources, operate solids handling/storage facilities and inventory requirements;
· Plan and review administrative systems;
· Monitor and maintain facility plant and equipment;
· Manage customer service and contracted support services-respond to all enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner;
· Identify and interpret compliance requirements;
· Support the recruitment, selection and induction of staff;
· Manage employee performance;
· Ensure facility emergency prevention procedures, systems and processes are implemented;
· Address any potential facility emergency situation in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will possess the following;
· Experience in transport and/or supply chain logistics environment’;
· Previous staff management experience;
· Able to multitask and prioritise duties;
· Strong problem solving skills, with high numerical accuracy, strong attention to detail and ability to interpret job data;
· Experience in building relationships across different levels of the organisation including strong interpersonal skills;
· Intermediate excel skills and proficient with the Microsoft suite;
· Possess a continuous improvement mindset.
