The Position...
In this diverse and fast-paced role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to help coordinate and manage a fleet of 300+ hire machines.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Scheduling daily deliveries and pickups
* Taking bookings and assisting customers with hire enquiries
* Coordinating drivers and workshop staff
* Supporting general administration tasks
* Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
The Ideal Candidate...
The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work and brings a proactive, solution-focused attitude. While experience in equipment hire, construction, logistics, or a similar industry will be highly regarded, the company is also open to applicants who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes & experience:
* Previous experience with fleet management (desirable)
* A machinery or logistics background would be highly advantageous
* Experienced in using hire software systems, MYOB and Microsoft Office (desirable)
* Ability to work well under pressure and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
* A confident communicator and natural relationship builder
* Organised and capable of multitasking effectively
* A logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
* Detail-oriented and accurate in their work
* A team player who is keen to grow with the business
* High attention to detail
