We are seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with breathtaking views of Lake Beedelup.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment, including proper storage of food, equipment, utensils, and supplies.
* Ensuring all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation of a variety of dishes.
* Liaising with front-of-house staff and management regarding customer service and general kitchen operations.
* Supervising and training cooks and kitchen staff.
* Cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting all kitchen areas.
Key qualifications include:
* Formal cookery qualifications, such as a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, with a minimum of two years relevant experience.
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
* Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and quality standards.
* Effective verbal communication skills.
* Availability to work a range of hours, including weekends and public holidays.
* Willingness to obtain a Police Check.
