Position Objective:
The Sales Lead is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, where our values and guiding principles are at the forefront of all store operations, including delivering a great customer experience and maximizing profitability. Functional Responsibilities:
1. Drive for Results
2. Establishes and communicates clear expectations, holding store team and themselves accountable for achieving all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
3. Performs and oversees basic operational activities such as opening and closing duties, and merchandise flow processes.
4. Supervises associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers. Utilizes weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines. Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; presents and displays merchandise in accordance with current promotions and standards.
5. Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties as directed by Management.
6. Develops a high-performance culture, motivating sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals; meets personal sales goals.
7. Trains and coaches to ensure the selling team is fluent in all aspects of product knowledge both online and in-store.
8. Trains, coaches, and assists with locate fulfillment and selling.

10. Motivates and inspires the store team, promoting a shared vision while modeling core values.
11. Promotes an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving.
12. Communicates with store teams and management to effectively lead positive change.

15. Models, teaches, and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
16. Uses various techniques and communicates product knowledge to recommend merchandise and assist customers based on their needs and desires.
17. Builds and maintains a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
18. Ensures prompt resolution of customer concerns.
19. Ensures a fast and efficient register experience, remaining current on policies regarding payments, coupons, returns, exchanges, security practices, and other operations.
20. Maintains consistent client communication through customer book, rewards program participation, and customer sign-up.

22. Supports, implements, and follows up on all training programs and seminars.
23. Assists in developing store associates; interprets KPI reports and provides coaching; contributes to performance appraisals and evaluations.
24. Drives associate and team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
25. Ensures adherence to all employment practices and policies.
26. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
* Must be 18 years or older
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to learn and adapt to company technology
* Knowledge of store operational administration
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers
* Regular attendance and flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
* Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
* Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of shift)
* Frequent climbing (34-66% of shift)
Starting at $16.50/hour or local minimum wage as applicable.
