This is a highly visible leadership position where you'll partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and manufacturing senior stakeholders to deliver insights, optimise COGS, and influence key business decisions.
Reporting to the Finance Director – Group Operations, you will lead financial management, reporting, and business partnering. You'll provide strategic and operational support to ensure accurate financial outcomes, drive cost efficiencies, and enable better decision-making across the business.
This is a 24 month fixed-term contract based in either Surry Hills or Warriewood.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
* Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
* Own budgeting and rolling forecast processes
* Manage product standard costing and COGS performance (including PPV and factory recovery)
* Analyse production variances, yield, and manufacturing efficiency
* Drive cost optimisation initiatives across supply chain and operations
* Partner with Operations Directors, Plant Managers, and Supply Chain teams
* Oversee inventory control, including SLOBS reporting
* Drive finance transformation and process improvements
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team
What You Bring
* 7–12+ years' experience in finance within supply chain/manufacturing
* Strong cost accounting and supply chain finance expertise
* Proven leadership experience managing finance teams
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
* Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Power BI (advantageous)
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
