About Data Analysis Specialist Role
As a key member of the Autonomy Operations team, you will be responsible for data analysis and decision support systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* Analyse large datasets using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that enhance operational efficiency and safety.
* Develop predictive models and integrate diverse data sources to create comprehensive datasets for analysis.
* Design algorithms for optimisation, automation, and predictive maintenance to improve mining processes.
* Create insightful visualisations to communicate complex analytical results to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT or Computer Science.
* Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (desired).
* Proven experience as a Data Scientist in an industrial setting, preferably in the mining industry.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Matlab, or R.
* Working knowledge of data visualisation tools like PowerBI.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
