WaterNSW is seeking an experienced Site Engineer - Rural Renewals (Full-Time Permanent) to join our Rural Renewals Built Infrastructure team. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with the leaders of the business; your contribution will be valued and you'll be supported to build a rewarding career.

What you'll do
* Support the development and implementation of technical and engineering solutions under the direction of senior project staff.
* Provide timely technical input, reporting and recommendations to assist with risk mitigation, environmental management and project goals.
* Contribute to the preparation of clear project specifications and documentation, facilitating effective engagement with consultants and contractors.
* Coordinate with suppliers and design teams to ensure alignment with project objectives, technical standards and environmental assessments.
* Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with scope, specifications and quality standards and assist with commissioning, testing and handover processes.
What we are looking for
* Bachelors degree or higher tertiary institution in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar) or demonstrated equivalent relevant experience.
* Experience in executing and overseeing site activities for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
* Experience collaborating with stakeholders to assess, resolve and implement technical solutions on-site.
* Ability to identify and address technical challenges by evaluating and supporting the implementation of appropriate solutions.
* Experience interpreting and applying technical specifications, reviewing engineering designs and drawings, regulatory requirements and industry standards in construction and site operations.
* Knowledge of assets relevant to WaterNSW core asset base such as dams, water regulating structures, bridges, roads, canals, embankments, buildings and cranes etc.
* Current NSW Drivers Licence.
