About the Role
The position isBrisbanebased.
We are looking for a junior to intermediate levelMechanical Designer/Drafterto join our engineering, design and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities
Import and manipulate vendor drawings and models.
Produce detailed mechanical drawings and models, including P&ID's.
Export equipment and piping quantities.
Collaborate with Mechanical and Process engineers to deliver construction plans.
Support project teams with documentation, revisions and coordination of drawings and models.
Establish and maintain design templates and drawing standards.

Required Qualifications
Relevant TAFE qualifications, diploma, or degree in drafting, engineering or design.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience with CAD and Autodesk Plant 3D for piping and equipment modelling.
Familiarity with technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
Mindset and Behaviours

Desirable
Interest or experience in water and wastewater treatment and pipeline design.
