Secondary Teacher – Design and Technology – Christian Education (with Curriculum Leadership Opportunity)

Charlton Christian College is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Secondary D&T Teacher to join our Senior School teaching team. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and Christian education, with the ability to teach Design & Technology (Years 7–12), ideally including Stage 6. The position includes the opportunity to work in a curriculum leadership role.

About the Role – with Curriculum Leadership Opportunity
* Full-time permanent position
* Commencement: Term 1, 2026 or by negotiation
* Teaching Design & Technology across Stages 4–6
* Stage 6 experience preferred
The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate:
* A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, regular attendance in a local Christian church, and willingness to uphold and support the College's Statement of Faith in all aspects of the role
* Knowledge of, and strong commitment to, child safety in an educational setting, including awareness of mandatory reporting obligations and safe practices when working with children and families
* A current Working with Children Check (NSW)
* NESA-recognised teaching qualifications and accreditation (or provisional registration)
* Proven ability to align professional practice with the AITSL Teacher Standards
* Capacity to integrate a Christian perspective into curriculum and classroom practice
* Evidence of the following behavioural competencies:
o Working with People – Builds positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues; shows empathy and contributes to a supportive team environment
o Adhering to Principles and Values – Demonstrates integrity and upholds the Christian ethos of the College

Commencement
The role will commence on 20 January 2026.
Salary & Conditions
The salary range for this role is approximately $70,000 to $131,000, depending on training and experience. The role is remunerated under the Christian Schools Teaching Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement.
