Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a Child Safety Support Officer. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing culturally appropriate support services to families, utilising a range of strategies including consultation, support and advice. They will work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to design and implement individualised service plans that meet the unique needs of each family.
This role requires a strong understanding of child safety principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to build trust with families and provide them with the support and resources they need to keep their children safe.
The Child Safety Support Officer will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, participating in case conferences and contributing to the development of case plans. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and preparing reports as required.
Key Responsibilities:
