Standalone Payroll Officer for a growing company in North Sydney
Your new company
This organisation provides services and solutions to their clients within the retail, education, health and hospitality industries. They are seeking a permanent standalone payroll officer to run their payroll function.
Your new role
In this role, you will:
* Process end-to-end payroll, including superannuation, tax, and various entitlements on time
* Manage backpays and terminations, timesheets and leave requests
* Interpret and apply relevant Awards and EA's
* Provide payroll support to staff and relevant stakeholders; answer all queries
* Maintain employee records and ensure all details are accurate and up-to-date
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated full function payroll experience - standalone is advantageous
* Strong knowledge of relevant Australian payroll legislation, laws and Awards
* Experience with payroll systems
* Be detail-oriented and autonomous; ability to work independently
* Great communication skills; able to answer payroll queries
