Print Engineer Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Print Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of our print and finishing machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote and adhere to occupational health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Lead by example in demonstrating safe behaviors and enforce global safety standards across the organization.
* Ensure lock-out/tag-out compliance for all maintenance activities to prevent equipment damage and ensure operator safety.
* Maintain equipment and facilities in accordance with food safety and HACCP requirements to meet industry standards.
* Support the Quality Manager in resolving equipment-related customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or higher qualification is required.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical maintenance, with 10+ years preferred.
* Experience in the printing industry, particularly label printing, is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with flexographic presses, die cutters, and rewinders is essential for this role.
* Experience in the food and beverage sector is preferred but not necessary.
* Strong organizational, time-management, and teamwork skills are crucial for success in this position.
* The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are required to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
