About the role
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Galvanising Production Operators to join the team at Rural Galvanising, an industry leader in hot zinc galvanising, in the heart of Gundagai, NSW. We also provide sandblasting services. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the galvanising process, ensuring the production of high-quality steel products that meet industry standards. On the job training is provided.
What you'll be doing
* Learn to perform the galvanizing process
* Working with galvanized steel products
* Safe use of hand and power tools
* Process line work, general labouring and cleaning
* Manual repetitive handling of products
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the galvanising equipment and work area
* Identify and report any issues or defects in the galvanised products
* Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
* Be fit for manual repetitive handling of products
* Reliable and team player
* Be able to follow directions and instructions
* Driver’s licence and own vehicle to access site (no public transport available)
* Forklift ticket (Not essential)
