Summary
The Program Leader will support the school's mission by leading specific programs aligned with the school's values, fostering partnerships, and ensuring effective practices for student success.
Program Leader – Location & Contract
* Location: St Mary's College, Ipswich
* Contract: 06/07/2026 – 04/12/2026 (Full‐time fixed term)
* Hours: 30.00 per week
* Salary: $86,601 – $124,725 per annum + Middle Leader Allowance Tier 2.2 + Super

Responsibility
* Lead the designated program within the school.
* Supervise teachers involved in the program.
* Induct or oversee induction of new teachers.
* Monitor student outcomes and address concerns with interventions.
* Coordinate staff delivery in line with school values and ethos.
* Regularly communicate with students, parents, staff, and stakeholders.
* Organise program activities, including resources, transport, and operations.
* Stay current with best practice and facilitate professional learning for staff.
* Contribute to school leadership via staff and middle leadership meetings.
* Manage financial and material resources, formulate budgets, and control expenditures.
About You – Qualifications & Experience
* Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
* Committed Catholic or member of faith tradition represented in ecumenical school.
* Experience in school leadership or supporting Catholic schools.
* Experience leading academic, cultural, outreach, or sporting programs.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise and support teaching staff.
* Strong organisational skills for program logistics, resources, and operations.
* Excellent communication skills to engage students, parents, staff, and partners.
* Capacity to build partnerships with external organisations.
* Commitment to school values and ethos.
* Ability to lead professional learning aligned with best practice.
* Active contribution to school leadership meetings.
* Competence in managing budgets and resources responsibly.
