Technical Sales Engineer – Industrial Refrigeration (IR). Relocate to Australia – Opportunities in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. Join Gordon Brothers Industries, now part of Johnson Controls.
Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Australian Industrial Refrigeration & Heat Pump marketplace.
* Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Provide market insights, including competitor activity and industry trends.
* Work closely with engineering and project teams to develop designs, costings, and proposals.
* Use specialist selection software to optimise equipment choices.
* Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to determine pricing and solutions.
* Manage the end‐to‐end sales process, including SFDC management, bid development, and legal reviews.
* Represent the business with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
* Ensure full compliance with Johnson Controls' Safety and Ethics Policies.
Qualifications
* Experience in industrial refrigeration, including product knowledge, design, or solution sales.
* A degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential).
* 3+ years Technical Sales experience.
* Outstanding communication skills.
* Strong negotiation abilities and a consultative approach.
* Commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
* The ability to build trust quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive, collaborative, and customer‐focused mindset.
