Montana Industries WA Pty Ltd t/a Abra Kebabra Store Manager (ANZSCO 142111 - Retail Manager) Full-time/Permanent $76,000 - $80,000 (salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience)
Responsibilities
* Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff to ensure efficiency and to increase sales
* Create & implement internal sales and marketing strategies and lead the retail team towards achievement of sales objectives
* Monitor market trends and sales and take corrective actions as required
* Propose product range mix and manage a desirable range that meets sales budgets, margin targets, and customer expectations
* Organise sales promotions and in-store events
* Encourage staff to sell offerings by advising customers about products and undertaking suggestive selling
* Ensure just-in-time stock refurbishment
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts, as required
* Analyse daily, weekly and monthly sales figures to ensure branch profitability
* Fully responsible for P&L
* Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
* Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety and legal requirements
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant AQF Diploma
* 1 year of relevant experience is essential
