Introduction:
Metso is a leading firm specializing in mineral processing solutions. We pride ourselves on our commitment to innovation and excellence, delivering high-quality projects around the world. We are currently seeking an experienced Design Draftsperson to join the team in Canning Vale.
This role will be responsible for the Preparation of Parts Lists and Manufacturing templates, to correspond with drawings, using Microsoft Office and other related software products. In addition to this other duties will include;
What you will do:-
Creating new drawings for rubber product manufacturing
Making changes, as required, to existing drawings, in line with prescribed quality systems and processes.
Carrying out requests made by the Drawing Office/ Engineering Manager and/or Plant Manager. Maintaining the highest excellence and quality in regards to health and safety and QA functions at, all times.
Creating and maintaining BOM and Routing data for Plant operations.
Who you are:-
Strong communication skills, listening, oral and written.
Strong computer and Microsoft office skills and experience.
Good time management, planning and organisational abilities. Strong attention to detail & ability to effectively handle interruptions and switch priorities between jobs as required.
Experience in AutoCAD/Inventor, or related engineering design software;
Experience in mechanical engineering design,
Experience in Microsoft office, SAP or other ERP software
Rubber products drafting or similar experience
