Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage administrative tasks using Best Practice Software, while providing excellent customer service to patients. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a medical practice and possess strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and schedule patient appointments
* Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
* Answer phone calls and emails, and handle inquiries promptly
* Verify patient information and details accurately
* Maintain and ensure data integrity
* Process billing and insurance claims
* Good computer skills
* Assist physicians and medical staff with administrative tasks as needed
* Maintain a clean and organised reception area
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2+ years medical reception experience is required for this position
* Proficiency in Best Practice Software and MS Office Suite
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
* Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
* Certificate or diploma in Medical Administration or related field (preferred)
