Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic to join our team on-site in Craigieburn, VIC. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment. Key daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, conducting detailed inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment and vehicles operate efficiently and safely. This role plays a critical part in maintaining performance standards and minimizing downtime for our valued clients.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Diesel Mechanics and expertise in maintaining and repairing diesel-powered systems
* Skill in Vehicle Maintenance and Heavy Equipment operation and repairs
* Experience in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices to ensure machinery efficiency
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
* Relevant trade qualifications in Diesel Mechanics or a related field
* Prior experience in a similar role working with diesel engines and heavy machinery
* Commitment to safety standards and protocols
