Sales Representative Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Representative to join our team in the Southern Tasmania region. This is an exciting opportunity to promote the sales of Hitachi Construction Equipment and build strong relationships with customers.
* Manage relationships with existing customers within the territory.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, and networking.
* Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales growth.
* Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and optimize results.
* Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A proven track record in sales, preferably within the construction or earthmoving equipment industry.
* The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, delivering exceptional service and ensuring their satisfaction.
* A motivated and competitive drive to achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
* Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in CRM systems, to assess value and inform sales strategies.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* A self-motivated and autonomous approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A current driver's license and willingness to travel regularly throughout the region.
