We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Process Engineer to join our Barlines area to support the Team in efficient and safe manufacture of high‐quality product through the application of Lean manufacturing principles & concepts, zero loss mindset and to drive best in class results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SQDCM).
How you will contribute
You will:
* Partner the Area Lead in efficient and safe manufacture of high‐quality product through Servant Leadership, the application of Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) principles & concepts, zero loss mindset and driving best in class results in SQDCSM for the designated Area / Lines across all shifts.
* Owns Loss Analysis of the Area and engages the line teams in loss analysis, deployment of targets, and managing loss elimination activities.
* Recommends productivity projects based on loss analysis and utilises engineering experience to lead or support the delivery of these projects with VSU methodology.
* Builds capability on the floor by identifying, helping fix problems and improving systems using the IL6S tools.

* Relevant engineering or technical experience, ideally within a fast‐moving consumer goods environment
* Knowledge of Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) principles
* Working knowledge of caramel cooking
* Working knowledge of nougat making
* Working knowledge of extruding, sheeting and chocolate enrobing technologies
* Working in teams and independently with appropriate guidance
* Prioritizing and managing activities
* Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions
* Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyse data and to reach clear conclusions.
* Communicating technical information effectively verbally and in writing
* Technical curiosity, continuous learner and a drive to ensure technical rigor.
* Strong project management skills
* Good inter‐personal skills/stakeholder management on all levels
* Excellent communication skills
Education:
Engineering/Science degree from good schools
