Project Manager - National Diversified Property Development Group

The Role
Working alongside the group's Project Director, you will take projects from conception through to completion, overseeing front‑end development, preconstruction, design development, Head Contractor engagement, and associated construction delivery management processes.
This will include undertaking feasibility, value/cost management, design management, approvals, project planning, and contract management processes, acting as the point of contact for all anchor tenants, consultants, and external stakeholders.
In doing so, you will be responsible for the engagement and ongoing management of all consultants and JV/Construction partners throughout the preconstruction and project delivery phases, acting on behalf of the developer.
Responsibilities
* Operating in a client‑facing capacity, managing the end‑to‑end development and delivery of construction/development projects – feasibility studies, site acquisition, design management, superintendency, construction/project management, and development advice.
* Work closely with external consultants, Head Contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes, acting as point of contact for all stakeholders.
* Support the coordination of tenant works, design approvals, and liaise with councils and statutory authorities.
* Interpret, understand, and execute Head Contracts – mitigating contractual risk.
* Manage tender and Head Contractor appointment process, as well as managing appointed PC/Builder during construction as Superintendent, ensuring key project targets are met inline with budget and contractual obligations.
About you
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Property Economics or related field.
* 4 years of experience in a Contract Admin, Site Engineer, Project Engineer, Design Manager/Coordinator, or Project Manager capacity – working for builder and/or developer, or consultancy.
* Strong understanding of the relevant preconstruction, design management, value management, and project delivery processes.
