ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Developer who thrives on ownership - someone who takes an application from a user conversation all the way through to production and beyond, and genuinely cares about the outcome.
You'll be working on a mature .NET application that sits at the heart of our operations, handling hardware integrations and cross-system workflows. This isn't a ticket-and-handoff environment. You'll own your app end-to-end: gathering and documenting requirements, building, testing, and supporting – with the autonomy to make good decisions and the accountability that comes with it.
This role suits someone who is already embracing agentic AI in their development workflow – not because they've been told to, but because they've seen what it can do and can't imagine going back.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage directly with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into clear specifications, and deliver working software
- Own the full lifecycle of the application – design, build, test, release, and support
- Maintain and extend integrations with hardware systems and internal business applications
- Apply agentic AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and solve complex problems faster
- Act as the application owner – proactively identifying risks, improvements, and opportunities without waiting to be directed
- Produce clear documentation and specifications as part of normal practice
ABOUT YOU
- Senior developer, ideally with a strong .NET background and the scars to prove it – you've maintained real systems under real pressure
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats: you can run a requirements workshop in the morning and write code in the afternoon
- Already using agentic AI in your development work – at home, at work, or both – and enthusiastic about where it's heading
- You take ownership seriously: if something's broken, you fix it; if something's wrong, you raise it; you don't wait for someone else to solve your problems
- Experience with hardware integrations or system-to-system integrations
- Clear communicator who can write a spec a developer can build from and explain a technical constraint in plain language to a business stakeholder
- Self-directed and comfortable operating with autonomy in a small, capable team
