About the Opportunity
EOC Group, in partnership with Agfert Fertilizers, are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join their Balaklava team in a Rural Product Sales role. Agfert is a proudly Australian-owned agribusiness supplying quality fertilizer products and rural supplies to farmers across the region.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who's passionate about agriculture, enjoys working with people, and wants to continue to develop an existing career in the rural supply industry.
About the role:
As a Rural Product Sales team member, you'll be site based in Balaklava site and work closely with our customers — helping them access the products and support they need to grow their farming businesses. You'll learn all aspects of agricultural product sales, customer service, and logistics while working with an experienced and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting customers with fertilizer and rural product enquiries
* Preparing sales quotes, processing orders, and coordinating deliveries
* Providing advice and product information to customers (training provided)
* have experience of customer accounts and knowledge of working with Xero/ Myob - Microsoft ware programs
* Building strong relationships with local farmers and rural clients
* Supporting day-to-day operations in the store and yard as required
What You'll Bring
* Strong communication and people skills
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Computer literacy
* A current driver's licence (forklift licence an advantage)
* Previous experience in agriculture is helpful but not essential
