This newly constructed mine site is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Emergency Services Officer to join our team on an 8 days on 6 off, 7 nights on 7 off roster. Reporting to the Coordinator: Emergency Services & Security, you will play a critical role in maintaining site safety, responding to emergencies, and supporting security operations.

About the Role:
1. Conduct routine emergency response maintenance checks and ensure compliance.
2. Perform onsite drug and alcohol screenings in line with site policies.
3. Participate in emergency training exercises and real-life incident responses.
4. Maintain and monitor emergency communication systems.
5. Assess risks and implement effective emergency response measures.
6. Develop external relationships for mutual aid in emergency situations.
7. Support security operations and site safety initiatives.
8. Deliver first aid and pre-hospital care while liaising with Injury Management.
9. Assist in training and development of the Emergency Response Team.
What We're Looking For:
1. Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue (or equivalent) - With expertise in open-circuit breathing apparatus, fire suppression, hazmat, vertical rope rescue, confined space rescue, and road crash rescue.
2. Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance).
3. Diploma of Emergency Health Care (or equivalent) - Desirable.
4. Valid Heavy Rigid (HR-B) Driver's Licence - Required.
