About Our Support Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a support worker, providing essential care and assistance to people in their own homes.
* Personal care includes showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance
* Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, traveling to medical appointments
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
* Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
* Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
* Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
* Comfortable using technology (i.e., mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback
* Flexibility to work the hours that suit you, so you can easily juggle life's other commitments
* Work close to home and assist people in and around your own community
