Join Snowy Hydro's Hunter Power Project and dynamic Commissioning team located in Kurri Kurri. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the wider Commissioning team to provide safe and reliable production and support the Commissioning Lead to ensure that all regulatory and compliance obligations are met during the cold and hot commissioning phase of the project.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
Proactively work to ensure that the ER's and approved ITPs are delivered in accordance with the Contract.
Support the development in consultation/coordination with SHL, UGL, MHI, Ausgrid and APA teams
Support the generator registration process and schedule / coordinate R1 and R2 testing.
Support the Commissioning Lead to deliver internal and external interfaces with project engineering, installation and external technical interfaces
Review and verify site Quality Management deliverables ensuring that the built product meets contractual requirements
Ensure that all necessary quality documentation has been produced and recorded by the Contractor
Ensure all communications to UGL, APA, MHI and within the Owner's Team regarding QA and non conformance are managed via ACONEX.
**We're looking for someone with**:
1-5 years experience in engineering. Experience in the power station construction or related industries would be highly regarded.
Engineering (electrical desirable) or trade background combined with relevant training and experience
The ability to work responsibly and effectively both at site and remote from site;
Demonstrated success in working collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously with responsibility and initiative.
Able to quickly and effectively adapt to changing circumstances and demands in a measured and constructive way.
Ability to read and understand work scopes, technical specifications and drawings, conceiving suitable, safe methods to execute and complete works.
Understanding and/or experience in the commissioning process of large infrastructure desirable.
