The role Within our Service Delivery Division, Licensing Services receives, assesses and determines a wide range of consumer protection, dangerous goods, and building and energy licenses, registrations, lodgements and applications.
Leading and managing a team, your goal will be to ensure the team provides efficient and effective processing of applications regulated by our department.
This could include managing your team's activities, assessing, processing and auditing applications as required, resolving highly complex matters and enquiries, developing, implementing and evaluating policies, procedures and processes, producing complex written reports including ministerial correspondence and briefing notes, as well as a host of other key duties.
In this role, you will bring your leadership and verbal and written communication skills.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 24 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
