About Us
Let's create a more sociable future together. At Endeavour, we're totally into what we do. With a portfolio that includes Dan Murphy's, BWS, ALH Hotels, Pinnacle Drinks and more, we love to bring people together. We share our passion for our products and industry; it's what inspires us to dream big and continue to create new experiences for our customers and teams across Australia. If you thrive on positive energy, we want to meet you!
About the Role
* This is just the start, so dream big
* Location: Sydney (Barangaroo), NSW
* Work Style: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH) + Dynamic Site Visits
* Perks: Company Vehicle (Tool of Trade) + Regular Interstate Travel (approx. 1 week/month)
Love the energy of hospitality but have a fierce passion for precision? Step out of the back office and onto the front lines of Australia's most loved pubs, hotels, and liquor stores.
As a Senior Safety Auditor at Endeavour Group, you aren't just ticking boxes; you are the guardian of safety across our iconic brands, including Dan Murphy's, BWS, and ALH Hotels. Joining our high‐performing Internal Audit team, you will serve as a strategic \"trusted advisor,\" protecting our people, our customers, and our reputation while genuinely shaping a national safety culture.
* Move beyond basic compliance. You will analyze complex data to deliver high‐stakes insights directly to the Executive Leadership team and the Audit & Risk Committee.
* Trade a static desk for the floor. One day you're in a bustling retail hub, the next you're at a premier hotel, and one week a month you'll be exploring the country checking out our national operations.
* As our subject‐matter expert, you won't just find gaps—you'll bridge them, translating technical data into \"aha!\" moments that drive real business improvement.
What you can expect
Reporting into the Internal Safety Audit function, your pivotal role focuses on evaluating risk management, governance, and Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SHW) frameworks across our entire network:

* Maintain SHW and Injury Management Self‐Insurance licenses in alignment with Board and State regulatory requirements.
* Present clear, data‐driven findings and actionable recommendations to operational management and executive leadership.
* Identify opportunities to refine Internal Audit processes and tools while mentoring and upskilling junior team members.
About You
You are a sharp, analytical problem‐solver who can talk data with executives and practical safety with team members on the floor.
* Cert IV in WHS (minimum); a Diploma in WHS is highly desirable.
* Proven track record as a Safety Advisor or Auditor, ideally within a Self‐Insured License Organisation or the retail/hospitality sectors.
* Strong working knowledge of the National Audit Tool (NAT), Self‐Insurance compliance, and Safety, Health, and Wellbeing Management Systems.
