Wireless Network Engineer Wanted
The company requires a skilled Wireless Network Engineer for a project based in Perth.
Responsibilities include configuring and deploying LAN network edge switches, implementing and coordinating OT connectivity to IT networks, and migrating all network cables from old to new switches.
Key requirements for this role include hands-on experience with Cisco and Huawei Network switches, knowledge of switching protocols, Spanning-tree, VSTP, VLANs, VTP, and stack switches, as well as experience with Cisco ISE, TACACS, Cisco DNAC, and Solarwinds.
Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of SFP types, fiber optics, and cabling techniques in mining sites, as well as be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues during or after migration. Documenting network changes, configurations, and diagrams is also essential.
Required certifications include Cisco CCNP Routing/Switching/Wireless certifications.
The successful candidate will also possess hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless Network Configurations and deployment, strong knowledge of wireless technologies (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF fundamentals, spectrum analysis, and the ability to conduct site surveys to assess wireless coverage and performance.
Additional requirements include maintaining detailed documentation, monitoring and troubleshooting wireless network performance, adhering to site safety policies, and having valid Australian driver's license with working rights in Australia.
Duration: 1 month with possible extension. Eligibility: Australian/NZ Citizens or PR Holders only.
