We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of children in our community-based After School Program.
This part-time or casual role involves supporting children with disabilities in a fun and safe environment through a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, bowling, park visits, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support children in community-based activities in a group setting
* Promote emotional regulation and positive social interactions
* E nsure the safety, wellbeing, and engagement of participants
* Communicate effectively with team members and participants' families
* Maintain accurate records of activities and participant progress
Requirements:
* Valid drivers licence (P2 or open class)
* Senior First Aid and CPR certificate
* NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
* Blue card (working with children check)
