Overview
Sky Restaurant Karratha Pty Ltd We are seeking an experienced and qualified Chef to oversee kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation. The Chef will plan menus, supervise kitchen staff, manage stock, and maintain compliance with food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
* Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
* Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
* Supervising and training kitchen staff
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation
* Managing inventory, ordering supplies and controlling waste
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and WHS regulations
* Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or associate degree.
* Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Sound knowledge of food safety standards
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
