Active Directory Consultant Job
As a consultant, you will work with our clients to design and implement Microsoft Active Directory solutions that meet their specific needs. This role requires a deep understanding of Active Directory/Entra ID concepts, as well as experience in providing level 3 support for incident management.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Design and implement Microsoft Active Directory solutions
* Provide level 3 support for incident management related to Active Directory Domain Services, Entra ID, and Active Directory Domain Services infrastructure
* Collaborate with junior staff members to provide mentorship and guidance
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Perform infrastructure changes according to client change management practices
* Work autonomously to meet client deadlines
Requirements:
* Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
* Ability to mentor and support junior team members
* Experience in project life cycle and transitioning to BAU operations
* Leadership skills in developing and delivering technical solutions
* Demonstrated high-level analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* NV1 Security Clearance and ability to gain and maintain NV2 clearance
* Microsoft Active Directory skills including DNS, DHCP, DFS, Group Policy, and Intune Policies and Profiles
* Windows PowerShell or associated scripting automation tools
* Microsoft Azure Pipelines and Process automation
* Nutanix and VMWare virtualization platforms
* Management of Windows Operating Systems
* Provision of Level 3 support, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting across various technologies
