About the Opportunity
As a Social Worker in our Allied Health team, you will make a meaningful impact through:
* Providing counselling, education, and support for complex issues such as mental health, housing, financial stress, and family conflict.
* Conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering interventions informed by Social Work theories and models.
* Supporting complex decision‐making including SACAT processes, adult safeguarding, and end‐of‐life planning.
* Engaging external service providers where required and helping clients remain safely and independently in their homes.
Acting as a trusted information resource for clients, families, staff and internal teams, this role offers the opportunity to create genuine, lasting impact in a rewarding community‐based environment.
About You
You are an empathetic and skilled professional who understands the importance of dignity, autonomy, and person‐centred care. You thrive in dynamic environments, bring strong communication and rapport‐building skills, and work collaboratively to support clients facing complex social, emotional, and psychological challenges.
Your approach reflects flexibility, curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to quality documentation and professional standards.
Essential
* Tertiary qualification in Social Work
* Membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Australian Driver's Licence
* National Police Clearance
* Manual Handling training
Desirable
* 5+ years' experience in Social Work
