About The Role
The Clinical Nurse Educator, part of the Emergency Services portfolio within the Centre for Education and Training (CET), develops and delivers training programs and resources for Emergency Services. Working collaboratively with other educators and clinical support staff, the role supports an interprofessional, coordinated approach to learning that aligns with organisational priorities. It enhances workforce capability through planning, delivering, and evaluating education, promoting safe, evidence-based, person-centred care, professional development, and a culture of best practice.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based education and training programs for the clinical workforce, aligned with organisational priorities and standards.
Conduct needs assessments, identify skill gaps, and create engaging learning materials using contemporary education methods.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, academic partners, and external providers to support interprofessional learning and workforce development.
Ensure all education activities comply with safety, quality, OHS, and information management standards.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and best practice across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
Professional qualification in a relevant health discipline and current AHPRA registration or eligibility for professional association membership.
Demonstrated clinical expertise and experience in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and lead change.
Knowledge of education theory and pedagogy, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and workforce learning.
