LGH Maternity Unit Transition to Practice Midwifery Program:The Launceston General Hospital Maternity Unit invites applications for our well-supported and comprehensive TtP Midwifery Program.We support newly graduated Midwives in order for them to consolidate their midwifery training across all areas of maternity including antenatal, birth suite, and postnatal.We are looking for midwives who are passionate about providing women-centred care based on best practice principles.We provide Professional Development Days including practical skills sessions that are focused on new graduate learning needs.The Launceston General Hospital (LGH) is the major referral hospital in Northern Tasmania.As a Registered Midwife, you will be part of the team that delivers approximately 1,600 newborn babies each year.
