Based from our waterfront office and marina in Rozelle Bay, Sydney, we are a boutique charter management business that manages an exclusive fleet of sailing and power cruising catamarans, in conjunction with parent company and yacht sales company Multihull Central.
We are seeking an experienced and organised Charter Manager to oversee day-to-day charter operations, bookings, and fleet coordination with skippers and crew. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working within the marine industry to deliver our amazing experiences on the water such as private group charters, Cruz Club memberships, bareboating holidays and sailing school lessons.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all charter bookings and enquiries, including client communication, quotations, and confirmations.
* Develop and manage charter pricing and availability to maximise bookings and revenue.
* Oversee fleet scheduling and vessel management, ensuring boats are allocated efficiently and prepared for charters.
* Coordinate with skippers, crew, vessel owners, and service providers to ensure smooth charter operations.
* Lead and support operational staff and crew to maintain high service standards.
* Manage and update the company website and online booking systems, including availability calendars.
* Develop and implement social media and digital marketing campaigns.
* Ensure charters operate in line with maritime regulations and safety requirements.
* Deliver excellent customer service and create tailored charter experiences for private, corporate, and event clients.
Skills & Experience
* Proactive, organised, and confident managing multiple bookings and operational tasks.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
* Experience in charter operations, tourism, events, hospitality, or the marine industry preferred.
* Confidence managing client relationships and sales enquiries.
* Experience with website management or booking systems is highly desirable.
* Digital marketing and/or social media expertise valued.
* Ability to work independently within a small business environment.
* Boat licence or sailing experience valued.
