Position Title: Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Neurologist)
Location: Department of Internal Medicine, Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals (Other positions at Bundaberg may also be filled through this recruitment)
Remuneration: We are offering a competitive remuneration package value up to $274,847 p.a., including salary between $103.79 - $131.60 p.h., generous employer superannuation (up to 12.75%), salary sacrifice perks, and flexible rostering for optimal work/life balance.
* The Staff Specialist Neurologist will deliver high-quality neurology care within the Fraser Coast Department of Medicine, including outpatient clinics, inpatient services, and consultation to medical teams.
* The role will provide clinical leadership for the acute and subacute stroke service, support the development and reporting of on-site neurophysiology (NCS/EEG) services, and contribute to education, research, audit, patient safety, and service planning.
* This position works collaboratively within the General Medicine team and reports to the Clinical Director of Medicine.
